Lille supremo Lopez: PSG clash will decide Ronaldo’s Real Madrid future
Lille powerbroker Gerard Lopez believes Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid future could be decided against PSG.
Lopez believes elimination from the Champions League could force Real’s hand and see Ronaldo sold.
He told Telefoot: “Today’s Cristiano, at 33, is not the Cristiano I knew at age 17-18. It is the transformation of a genius and a person who can understand how he can always be better.
“But there is the question of whether to continue with Real or leave. I understand the negotiations that are going on right now. If Real Madrid gets eliminated by PSG, everything will be questioned. They will have to redo everything.
“I am sure that if he leaves Real, he will go to a big club.”
STUNNER! Spurs star Kane WILL listen to Man Utd summer offer
Tottenham striker Harry Kane is willing to consider an offer from Manchester United, according to major Madrid sources.
Marca says Kane is weighing up whether to join Manchester United.
He snubbed a move to Old Trafford last summer, despite the Red Devils being eager to double his wages.
But now, with United prepared to offer him even more money, Kane’s head has supposedly been turned.
The England star is mulling over whether to move at the end of the season – though Mauricio Pochettino’s own future is key to any transfer.
Man City ace De Bruyne’s agent: Mourinho still refuses to admit his mistake!
The agent of Manchester City attacker Kevin de Bruyne has had a pop at Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
Patrick De Koster took a swipe at Mourinho for letting De Bruyne leave Chelsea during his time in charge at Stamford Bridge.
The agent said: “To this day Mourinho struggles to admit he has made a mistake. He said Kevin was not yet ready for the first team.
“By contrast Chelsea admit they got things wrong. Wolfsburg got a bargain when they paid just £18m for Kevin in 2014.
“He had four options in 2015. He could have stayed at Wolfsburg, but by then he had seen and done it all.
“He could have joined Bayern Munich, but they never go over a certain limit with paying their players.
“Paris Saint-German were a third option, but there are too few top-level matches in France.
“Fourthly, Manchester City, who play a game of Champions League standard almost every week.
“We made a good choice in joining them. Since then he has become ‘King Kev.'”
Real Madrid in talks with 3 clubs about Vinicius Junior loan
Real Madrid will press on with plans to bring Vinicius Junior to Europe next season.
Signed a year ago from Flamengo, the 17 year-old striker has been playing senior football with the Brazilian club.
Don Balon says Real will insist bringing Vinicius to Spain this summer and plan to loan him to a LaLiga rival for 12 months.
During victory over Real Sociedad yesterday, Real president Florentino Perez did field an enquiry about his plans for Vinicius.
However, La Real are not alone, with Celta Vigo and Sevilla also registering their interest.
