man uiManchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has committed his international future to Scotland.
The Daily Mail says new Scotland boss Alex McLeish will be at Selhurst Park tonight to watch the 21-year-old in action against Crystal Palace.
And McLeish plans to confirm McTominay’s decision by phone tomorrow before naming him in his squad on Thursday morning for the forthcoming friendlies with Costa Rica and Hungary.
Born in Lancaster, the 21-year-old qualifies to play for the Scots thanks to a Glaswegian father.
McTominay also spoke to England boss Gareth Southgate on Friday And his decision to commit to the Scots represents a timely boost for McLeish following the decision by Celtic captain Scott Brown to return to international retirement.
