Matthaus warns Liverpool: Losing Coutinho nothing, but Salah.

liverLother Matthaus believes Liverpool aren’t missing Philippe Coutinho after his move to Barcelona.
But the Germany legend says the club must brace itself for bids for Mohamed Salah.
The Reds have scored 30 goals in 11 games since Coutinho joined the Catalan giants in a deal worth £142m.
“You don’t feel it too much,” the 1990 World Cup winner said. “He brought a lot of money and Liverpool invested it in other ways.
“Coutinho is a very good player, he played better in Liverpool than Barcelona so far. He liked to go from Liverpool to Barcelona but I don’t feel that Liverpool missed him.
“They play a little bit of a different system, with different players, they are in a good way without Coutinho.”
Salah has been integral to Liverpool’s success this season. The Egyptian has scored 36 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions, including 28 in the league.
And Matthaus believes his stellar form will undoubtedly attract attention from the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
He added: “You know exactly when it’s coming. A team like Barcelona, to play with Messi, a team like Real Madrid, the name of Real Madrid.
“Liverpool has a long tradition of being a big club but in another way when some clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona is coming you have to understand his mind maybe will change in another championship.”
