Zinedine Zidane clashed with Real Madrid management before his resignation a fortnight ago.

Sport says the Frenchman wanted to clearout a raft of senior players and was also unhappy with the summer transfer plans relayed by GM Jose Angel Sanchez.
Zidane wanted Gareth Bale sold, while last year’s arrivals Theo Hernandez, Jesus Vallejo and Marcos Llórente left him disappointed.
The Frenchman was also angered when seeing his signing recommendations were ignored by Sanchez and president Florentino Perez.
Indeed, it’s claimed Sanchez and Florentino invited Zidane TO LEAVE ahead of his resignation. The decision was such that Zidane was able to negotiate a pay-off despite quitting.
