New Everton boss Marco Silva is confident everyone’s on the same page over their transfer plans.
The 40-year-old’s dismissal last season came amid reports of growing tension between him, sporting director Filippo Giraldi and the Watford board over transfers.
“About the past I don’t want to talk about this situation but like I told you, only for me it makes sense and the club will only work the right way, if everybody works the same way,” Silva told the Liverpool Echo.
“With our sporting director, with our owner – a fantastic person who will for sure give us support as a club to improve – and our chairman as well.
“Me and Marcel (Brands) will work everyday here but it only make sense if you work all together and the players we try to find are the players for the coach’s idea.”
