Chelsea are refusing to cave into Real Madrid over a settled price for Eden Hazard’s sale.
AS says expectations of a quick agreement after Chelsea’s triumphant Europa League final are effectively over. Hopes of a Monday presentation at the Bernabeu are now scrapped.
Chelsea are refusing to drop their price for Hazard, despite the midfielder about to enter the final year of his current deal.
Real were convinced they would close a deal before the weekend, though had been warned by Hazard’s camp not to expect a smooth ride.
Negotiations are now expected to drag through the weekend as the Blues push for a €120m valuation to be met.
